STORY
The Mauser projectile, which was widely used by the Germans during World War I, was developed by Paul Mauser in 1898. Also known as 7.92x57mm, this bullet was considered one of the most powerful and effective rifle bullets of the era in the World. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, low voltage and long range, it became a bullet preferred by German soldiers. Mauser bullet played an important role in the battles that were one of the turning points of World War I and remained its popularity even after the war.
Also Mauser projectiles used by the Germans during the World War I era had “tipped’’ or “needle’’ variants specially designed for armored fortification. Such projectiles had the ability to penetrate enemy armor and were especially used for anti-tank duty.
