STORY
World War I was one of the bloodiest and most destructive conflicts in history. While many aspects of this war are still being discussed, a small detail such as a soldier’s tag played a big role in saving the lives of soldiers. These tags contained the names, ranks, military units and other important information of the soldiers. Soldier tags made it easier for wounded soldiers to get medical attention and helped identify dead soldiers. Even today, military forces use tags to identify soldiers.
