STORY
Soldiers carried as much water as their flasks took with them to meet their wartime water needs. These flasks are better designed over time. Water flasks, previously made of lean metal, could not keep the water cold and would heat up quickly when the flasks were exposed to the sun. Later, enamel flasks were produced as you see. In these flasks, enamel had the role of thermal insulation. So, it prevented the water from heating up quickly from the influence of the sun. These flasks were used by soldiers on the enemy front.
