STORY
The French infantry bayonet attached to the Lebel Model 1886 rifle was a sharp and long weapon used in the 19th Century. There was a taper at the end of the bayonet, which was usually 50-60 cm long. These bayonets were used by infantry soldiers for both offensive and defensive purposes in close combat with the enemy. These bayonets, which were often preferred by the French army during World War I, have decreased in use along with modernizing combat tactics.
