STORY

Rum bottles produced in England by the Gibbs&Cunning company between 1847 and 1930. It was with British troops in all the battles in which the British participated, from the Arab deserts to the Dardanelles and the Western Front of World War I in Europe. Standard ones could take about 4 liters of rum into. S.R.D. was the name of the warehouse where all military bottles in Britain were stored and distributed. It is also wrong to say that only rum is put in these bottles. Acid, oil or even ink have also been put in. On battlefields, they were also used to store more water after their original contents were finished.
