DESCRIPTION
“مراد بن محمد خان” and number “843” are written on the coin of the Sultan Murad II period. There is also a 'half-moon' in the middle of the money. On the back of the money, there are “خلد ملکه” and “ضرب فی ادرنه” phrases which mean “May Allah make his kingdom eternal” and “It was minted in Edirne”. The hole on it is not present in the original coin.
STORY
This money is minted during the reign of Sultan Murad II. Sultan Murad II is the father of Mehmed II who is the conqueror of Constantine. This money was minted a few months before the birth of the great Sultan who would one day conquer Constantine and make it our homeland. That is the proof of how long it has been.
