There are many hollows on it. There is no cover. There is an inscriptionشاهانه  عساکر , that is, “Asakir-i Sahane’’ on it. The “Tulip’’ drawing was printed on it later.

Soldiers used to carry as much water as their flasks took with them to meet their water needs during wartime. Previously, water flasks made of plain metal could not keep the water cold and the flask warmed up quickly when exposed to the sun. Later, enameled flasks were produced. Later, enamel flasks were produced. The thermal insulation of the enamel in these flasks prevented the water from heating up quickly from the effect of the sun.
