DESCRIPTION
Because it is covered with protective paint, it is not exposed to rust outside. But the inside is very rusty. The gunpowder and shrapnel inside have been discharged. There are Latin numbers on the explosion mechanism.
STORY
The French 75 mm field gun was a rapid-fire field gun part adopted in March 1898. The shrapnel shell casing in our museum is manufactured for use in these cannons.
