DESCRIPTION
It is in a good condition. The order of the moon and star is engraved on the inner side of the hilt part. The hilt is made of brass mine and wood. The case is available.
STORY
Estoc is a weapon of war that entered in the 19th century to the Ottoman Army. Depending on the intended use, unopened estocs are used in melee training, while short and long estocs are used in ceremonies. This estoc is also used as a clothing accessory for students in military schools of some countries. The Ottoman Empire, which was allied with Germany in the First World War, replaced the use of swords by naval officers wearing estoc. The hilt of the estoc is made of white mother-of-pearl and is ornately designed. The case is made of yellow brass and has rings on it. The sword is customized with Barbaros Hayrettin’s cap.
