STORY
In order to carry weapons more easily and with minimal risk, soldiers used belts that connected one end to the barrel of the rifle and the other end to the stock. With the help of this belt, they would hang rifles on their shoulders except during combat and training, and they would carry even long distances. That way, the soldier’s hands would be more free. They usually knit these belts from rope and usually close and strengthen them with a metal apparatus so that the ends do not wear and tear. Thus, the life of the belts was extended.
